St. Scholastica Academy recognized retired former soccer coach and athletic director Art Lyons for his many years of dedicated service to the Doves’ program in a pre-game ceremony Friday night. The SSA soccer field was renamed the Art Lyons Soccer Field in a ceremony prior to the SSA-Mandeville Lady Skippers final district match won by the Doves, 5-2. Lyons shared his thoughts on being recognized.
