Edmond “Eddie” Thomas Barras Jr., 47, was taken from this Earth and those who love him Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010. Left to celebrate his life are his son, Adam A. Barras; his parents, Paulette Ketry Barras and Edmond T. Barras, Sr.; and his sister, Pamela A. Barras. He was the grandson of Nancy G. Ketry and the late John M. Ketry, Therese Yenni Barras and Lee J. Barras. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

He was the beloved father of Loree L Krajcer and her husband Jimmy, and Lawrence V. Jr., and his wife Sari; son of the late Lillian M. and Arthur Labatut; brother of Louis Labatut, Rose Marie L. Asaro and the late Arthur, Lloyd, Robert, Alvin, Monte, Milton, Lois Labatut and Merle L. Kirchem and grandfather of Matthew Peter Labatut, Deborah Lynn Labatut, James Joseph “Tre’” Krajcer III, Logan Lawrence Krajcer, Jake Jules Krajcer and Angelle M. Melancon. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Dore and Daniel Dore; mother of Lisa, wife of Jack Strain; Alan Palmer; Kim, wife of Chris Loyd; Jill, wife of John Mathies; Ann, wife of Jerome King; Marcy, wife of Clarence Mullen and grandmother of Ryan Palmer, Rhett Strain, Aaron Dufrene, Steven Dufrene, Joseph Palmer, Jennie Dufrene, Rachel Strain, Jace King, Susan Palmer, Brian Hill, John Palmer, Josh King, Joel King, Colleen Mathies, Ann King, Brett Mullen, Julie Mathies, Clarence Mullen and the late Rodney Strain III. She was adored and loved by a host of nieces and nephews and she devoted much of her life to the care of numerous abused and neglected children through foster care. Ann believed that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. She is presently at the feet of Jesus worshipping him forevermore.

Pecoraro; son of the late Samuel Pecoraro Sr., and Leonie Miller Pecoraro; brother of Frances Pecoraro, the late Samuel Pecoraro Jr., Margie Brinker, and Geraldine Diamond; grandfather of Whitney Pike, Kasey Pike, Dominik Pecoraro and Annika Pecoraro and great-grandfather of Sophia Lynn Reagin.
