Lee Roy O’Quinn, 69, of Pearl River, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010. He was a member of Evans Creek Baptist Church and a retired master chief in the U.S. Navy as well as a Vietnam veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra O’Quinn; and two children, Timothy Wayne O’Quinn (wife Chalise) and Teresa Diane Leger (husband Jaime). He is also survived by seven grandchildren Claudia, Olivia, Riley, Sydney, Ian, Bennett and Ainsley; and three brothers, Jimmy Lamon O’Quinn, Raymond Oscar O’Quinn and Daniel Ethridge O’Quinn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Flemon and Wilma O’Quinn; and his brother, Shelby F. O’Quinn.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at D.T. Williams Funeral Home 67525 Louisiana Highway 41, Pearl River. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time tomorrow. Internment is to follow in Hickory Memorial Gardens, Pearl River. Brother Raymond O’Quinn will officiate.
