Children read the book at home and join their peers for book discussion, a snack and an activity or craft. Bookclubs meet every month. The program is free, however, registration is required. Go to the branch to register and to check out a copy of the book. Throughout the fall, the Covington, Mandeville and Slidell book clubs will read books nominated for the 2011 Louisiana Young Readers’ Choice award.
