Hannan defeats Salmen in opener

Archbishop Hannan Lady Hawks won their opening match over Salmen 25-11, 22-25, 25-12, 25-9 at home Monday.

Kassadi Monica dished out 29 assists, while Brooke Laigast pulled up 13 digs and Hannah Naquin posted 10 kills to go with an ace. Natalie Powell recorded nine kills and three aces, while Kim Nilsson tallied nine kills and five aces.

Ashley Cabeceiras logged four kills and four aces.

For Salmen, Megan Brown recorded five kills. Briana Brown blocked three shots and served two aces. Ariel Mutz had eight assists and Tourean Cousin recorded five digs.
