Officers used a 19-year-old confidential informant to target 15 businesses.
During the operation the 19-year-old informant was sent into the businesses and attempted to purchase alcohol.

• Timothy Tully Jr., 30, at the Obelisk, 22 St. Ann Drive;
• Jonas Gurnditz, 22, at the Barley Oak, 2101 Lakeshore Drive;
• Clay Cavignac, 45, at Donz, 1951 Lakeshore Drive;
• George Turlington, 28, at the Beach House, 124 Girod St.;
This was the second time in a row that a clerk at the Jemworks on North Causeway was cited.
The clerks at the following locations were commended for refusing to sell alcohol to a minor:
• Cracker Barrel, 1948 Florida Street
• Texaco, 2000 Florida Street
• Fresh Market, 1816 North Causeway
• Chevron, 3890 Louisiana Highway 22
• Northshore Shell, 501 North Causeway
• Spur, 3810 Louisiana Highway 22
• Winn Dixie, 619 North Causeway
• The Wine Loft, 1901 U.S. Highway 190
• Ruby’s Roadhouse, 840 Lamarque Street.

To those busted - Plead Not Guilty. Have an attorney look into MPD's policy on CI usage, even better if they have no policy at all.
File a motion to disclose the identity of the CI since he was a material participant to the crime. Look that person up for priors and see what he stands to gain by helping MPD.
A RS 14:93.11 guilty plea is a $500 fine and you will have a criminal record. "
