NOBLES

Robert H. Nobles, 67, of Slidell, passed away Saturday Aug. 14, 2010. He was a merchant seaman, a member of First Christian Church in Slidell, the Pearl River Masonic Lodge 456, Pearl River Lions Club and Order of the Eastern Star Pearl River Chapter 237.

Robert is survived by his wife, Patricia Nobles; and three children, Jackie Nobles (wife, Marlene) of Slidell, Robert A. Nobles (wife, Cynthia) of Hickory and Amanda Ward (husband, George) of Canton, Ga. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Caitlyn Nobles, Amollya Nobles, Emma Nobles, Danielle Ward and Destin Nobles; two brothers, Fred Nobles of Florida and Fred Lorge of Alabama; and his sister, Willie Mae Woodriff of Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his parents Fredick and Lucille Nobles.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today Wednesday at D.T. Williams Funeral Home 67525 Louisiana Highway 41 Pearl River. Interment will follow at Ponamah Cemetery in Bogalusa with the Rev. Susie LaSalle to be officiating.
