Walking to find a cure

Despite the threat of bad weather, several thousand people showed up at the Slidell Municipal Airport Saturday afternoon to take part in the Slidell Relay for Life, and do their part to find a cure for cancer.

‘Ragtime’ now playing at Slidell Little Theatre

The epic musical ‘Ragtime’ is on stage at Slidell Little Theatre with a cast of 41 singers and dancers from elementary school students to SLT veterans, hundreds of period costumes and even a vintage automobile. After the first weekend of performances, rave reviews were heard from audience members. This is the final production of the 2009-10 season and one not to be missed.
