Fortenberry named head of business affairs

After announcing the new director of business affairs, Terri Fortenberry, St. Tammany Parish School Board President John Lamarque commented, “We’re looking forward to a long time of being in the black.”

Terri Fortenberry has been acting director of business affairs since December 2009. She was formerly the chief accountant for the school board and was audit manager at Rebowe and Co. CPAs in Metairie from 2002-2007. She was also audit supervisor for Suplantis, Hrapmann, Hogan and Maher LLP from 1995-2002.

Fortenberry is a member of the Louisiana Society of CPAs, American Institute of CPAs, Mississippi Society of CPAs, Association of Government Accountants, Government Finance Officers Association and the LCPA Accounting and Auditing Standards Committee.

Besides her CPA license, she holds a Masters of Professional Accountancy degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in public accounting, both from the University of Southern Mississippi.
