She was preceded in death by her husband, A.E. Newman; her parents, Mack Oatsvall and John and Dovie Horton. She was a native of Hardin County, Tenn., and a resident of Mandeville for the past 40 years.

Mr. King worked on the Apollo Program at NASA, and he worked with Mason Chamberlin, who designed the first automated grain loader. He was an avid archer, hunter and fisherman. He is survived by eight children, Richard, Randy, Rodney, Robert, Royce, Ryan, and Pamela King and Patience Breaux. He is also survived by two sisters, Charlotte Larsen and Vivian Lindberg and 15 grandchildren.

Primes Jr. (Denise Kron), Kyle Primes, Kara Primes Goff (Bengie Goff) and Chad Ross Primes (Sabrina Moldaner); grandfather of Stephen Dottolo Jr. and Jacqueline Primes; brother of Paulette Duncan and Sybil Nordgren. He served as a Covington city councilman for many years, coached many age levels and sports at the Covington Recreation Center, was an avid bowler, fisherman and gardener. He retired as a mortgage lender. He was a native and lifelong resident of Covington.
