Shirley and Willie Hall of Pearl River announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Joy Louise, to Grady Ross Thigpen of Pearl River, son of Sue and Grady Thigpen of Pearl River.

The ceremony will be celebrated June 18, 2010, at the Louisiana Castle followed by a reception.

Hall, whose mother is the former Shirley Holifield, is a graduate of Pearl River High School and attends Louisiana State University where she will receive a degree in biological sciences concentrating in secondary education.

Grady Thigpen and Joy Hall

Thigpen, whose mother is the former Sue Ross of Pearl River, is a graduate of Pearl River High School and attends Louisiana State University where he will receive a degree in chemical engineering.

He is the grandson of Charlene and the late Lavell Thigpen of Pearl River and Arnold and the late Dorothy Ross of Kosciusko, Miss.�
