Clinton Ledford, 91, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at his grandson’s residence in Pearl River. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Pearl River, and an avid collector of antiques and other items.

Ledford is survived by a daughter, Janice L. Ledford; a sister, Naomi Balio; three grandchildren, Sonny Hodgson, III, Ricky Hodgson, and Lisa Hodgson; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Estelle Ledford; parents, Homer Ledford and Rita Posey; and brother, Aaron Ledford.

Funeral services will start at 10 a.m. today at D.T. Williams Funeral Home 67525 Louisiana Highway 41, Pearl River with the Rev. Alvin Waller officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon. Interment to follow at Hickory Memorial Gardens, Pearl River, where he will be laid at rest next to his wife of 70 years, Estelle Ledford.
