Joseph Lawrence Colgin, 61, of Pearl River, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010. He was a wildlife agent, singer and a local entertainer for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years Bobbie Jean Colgin. He was also the loving father of three sons, Bobby Joe, Michael A. and James A. Colgin; and devoted grandfather of four grandchildren, Dillon, Shelby, Damon and Addison Colgin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Maxine Colgin; stepfather, Claude Pittman; and brother, Gary Colgin.

COLGIN

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at D.T. Williams Funeral Home, 67525 Louisiana Highway 41, Pearl River. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Meet at Williams Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Monday to follow in a procession going from Pearl River to New Palestine Cemetery in Picayune, Miss. for committal service at 11 a.m.
