St. Tammany Parish and the Tammany Trace Foundation will host the 2009 Holiday of Lights at the Tammany Trace Trailhead on Koop Drive in Mandeville.

The display will take place from 6-9 p.m. on two successive weekends, Friday and Saturday December 4, 5, 11 and 12.

The event is free and open to the public. Visitors to the display can walk through a spread of lighted Christmas trees and displays while listening to local entertainers and Christmas carolers.  One of the highlights of the event are the lights adorning the 160-foot water tower at the Trace.  All displays will remain lit and open to the public until January 3rd, 2010.

For more information on the Holiday of Lights, call the Tammany Trace Foundation at 867-9490.
