FPD spokesperson Lt. Justin Brown said two Franklinton men have been arrested on first-degree murder charges.
Brown said police responded to a 911 call about a car accident in the 1400 block of Alford Street in Franklinton Sunday around 11 p.m.

“He was shot once in the back, and once in the head,” Brown said.
The investigation of the murder led to the arrest of Kendarrious Bautista, 17, and Delaris Jenkins, 19, both of Franklinton. Bautista was charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit armed robbery, and Jenkins was charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery, Brown said.
Investigators discovered that Bautista and Jenkins planned to rob Brock by having Jenkins wear a wig and pose as a woman, and try to get into Brock’s car to rob him.
Brown said Jenkins managed to get into Brock’s car, but when Brock realized that Jenkins was a male, he ordered him out of the car. Brown said that Brock then drove back to Alford Street, and somehow, Bautista forced himself into Brock’s car, and allegedly shot Brock twice for an unknown reason. Bautista then jumped from the moving car, which ran over a gas meter, and then hit a tree.
Interviews with witnesses led investigators to the pair, who were interviewed Monday. After the interview, Bautista and Jenkins were both arrested, Brown said.
The area where the murder occurred is known to be an area where drugs are sold.
Two years ago, a Franklinton police officer was murdered on Alford Street.
Brown said that police discovered Brock was dating Elizabeth Harvey until her death in 2008.
Harvey was the mother of Faith Hathaway, who was murdered by Robert Lee Willie and Joe Vaccaro in 1980. That case was the inspiration for the book and movie “Dead Man Walking.”

And by the way; he was "picking up franklinton ho's". The boy dressed as a woman was saying she needed a ride home and my uncle was a loving giving man and was trying to help, before he was brutally murdered for being kind hearted. "
