Northlake Christian School baseball player Bryan Picou has made a verbal commitment to play for the University of Memphis when he graduates. Picou, a left-handed center fielder and pitcher, was a member on the Wolverines’ 2009 Class 1A state championship team.

Picou talked about making his verbal commitment.

“After making visits to Memphis, I really liked the place and the campus. The coaches treated me awesome and it seemed like they really wanted me. I built a bond with them. It seems like a right fit for me,” Picou said.
