The Colonial Pinnacle Nord du Lac project has released a list of contracted tenants for the new French Quarter and traditional style lifestyle center to be located at Louisiana Highway 21 and Interstate 12.

Coldwater Creek, Buckle, Finish Line, Cache, Jos. A. Banks, ULta Cosmetics, Talbot’s, Chico’s and Circuit City have signed as tenants for the center. Anchors announced at the groundbreaking on Tuesday are Dillard’s, with a 126,000-square-foot store; Kohl’s, 86,000 square feet; Barnes and Nobles, 25,000 square feet; and Dick’s Sporting Goods with 55,000 square feet of space in the new complex.

Colonial Pinnacle Nord du Lac will accommodation 115 tenants at a million square feet and will cost about $200 million to complete.

Richard Yeilding, senior vice president of retail development for Colonial Properties Trust, said they are in “active negotiations” with 90 tenants, including a number of Southshore boutiques.

Yeilding also said the company is in final negotiations with seven full service national and regional restaurants.

He added they are committed to have representation from the signature restaurateurs from the Southshore and the French Quarter who are not currently on the Northshore.

They are still trying to attract a high end grocery store along with a fitness complex, baby and toy store, furniture store and movie dinner theater.

Site work is estimated to be four months from completion on clearing, leveling and infrastructure work. The actual vertical construction has been estimated at a year for completion.

Yeilding has promised the opening of the center will be Oct. 1, 2009.
