Over 100 vendors are expected at the event, with a wide variety of merchandise available. Choose from antique furniture, Depression glass, jewelry, dolls, crafts, home décor, and collectibles. Food, of course, is always one of the main attractions, and visitors will have a diverse assortment of goodies for every appetite.
“Everyone has something unique they bring to the street fair,” said SHAA Secretary Jeanette Tetreau. “There’s everything from hand-embroidered clothing to Roseville pottery, patio furniture to a beautiful marble-topped buffet from the 1800s.”

The Slidell Historic Antique Association has presented the twice-yearly event for over 25 years. Each year, the group donates a portion of the proceeds to Community Christian Concern, the charitable organization dedicated to serving the area’s needy population.
Thousands of visitors came from throughout the area and surrounding states, and even more are expected for the spring event.
First, Second and Erlanger streets will be closed to vehicle traffic for the event. Admission is free, and hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. For more information, call 641-6316.
