Stefancik meeting with consituents

St. Tammany Parish District 11 Councilman Steve Stefancik will host his monthly meeting with constituents at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the library of Bayou Woods Elementary School located off Carroll Road in east St. Tammany.

The following items will be discussed:

  • Progress on the new road from Airport Road to U.S. Highway 11.

  • The parish comprehensive rezoning for District 11.

  • Selection of Planning and Zoning Commission members.

  • An appeal concerning the filling of a pond along U.S. Highway 190 West.

  • An ordinance to extend the moratorium currently in existence on properties north of Interstate 12 and abutting or having access from Airport Road.

  • Other items of concern to District 11 constituents.

    Anyone wishing additional information concerning the meeting should call 649-4580.

      " What a great loss to the people of Chalmette and the many others who left. But it's a big gain for the people of Pearl River.
      Not often in life will you meet so many good people in one place.
